For your consideration: I've been both a musician and a DJ for over 30 years, performing for
clubs, private & corporate events both in Southern California & Las Vegas.
But long before that, I knew I was kinky.
Music is great for filling dead space during parties, providing a groove for people to enjoy and
just makes the party environment that much more festive, all performed by someone who
reads the crowd, is mindful of volume levels and the musical tastes of the attendees.
No premixed IPODS playing random noise when the mood of the room clearly calls for
something different.
I have enjoyed the opportunity to DJ for the Shadow Lane parties since 1999.
Other recent events include:
The 2010 Boardwalk Badness Weekend in Atlantic City
The 2011 Texas All-State Spanking Party in Dallas
Crimson Moon's 2011 Halloween Spooktacular in Chicago
Coming up will be Seaside Swats in April, 2012 in San Diego
A return to Dallas for the Texas All-State Spanking Party in June, 2012
A return to Las Vegas for the Shadow Lane Party over Labor Day Weekend, September, 2012
and The Tampa Tanners Magical Moments party in February, 2013.
Unlike many DJ's with their caution tape, their standoffish demeanor or their attitudes, I have
an open-door policy to your party attendees. They are welcome to walk right up, talk music,
flip through my song requests book, and play an interactive role in my playlist.
I am happy to handle announcements, interviews, and with my cordless mic, wander the
party for some fun, unscripted on-the-spot exchanges with your guests, if appropriate.
Each event is treated as unique, mainly because each group is proud of their identity in the
fetish world, so the music and any activities will reflect the desires and vision of the
organizers. No "cookie-cutter" treatments here.
That said, here's "The Deal":
Parties are expensive - we all know this - so to help keep things under control, I choose to
charge....... Nothing.
Whatcha talkin' bout Willis?
Seriously, I don't charge a cent, however, there is a catch:
The organizers will need to cover the following expenses:
A) (2) Round trip, non-stop airfares from southern California to the party locale's city.
(one for me, one for my wife) Non stop is a requirement due to airline's amazing ability
to be late (late stopover = missed connection = DJ is a no-show).
B) Overnight accommodations at the venue hotel for each day/night of DJ performance.
C) (2) party tickets, including a vendor table for Kitty's Exotic Paddles if applicable.
(if your vendor fair is on a Friday night, this also becomes a DJ performance night).
D) (2) powered PA cabinets suitable for Mobile DJ work for each day/night of DJ
performance. (Mackie SRM450, QSC K12, Electro-Voice SXA250, or whatever Powered PA
Cabinets the venue normally uses, plus audio & power cords & stands, delivered.
Tip: PA systems of this nature are plentiful, check with party attendees if they have one to lend!
I will bring all other related audio gear (players, mixer, music library, microphones, etc.)
saving you the money of having to rent those separately.
I know this stuff runs into a bit of money, and you are welcome to price-compare for a local
DJ, but I think you will find that a scene-friendly DJ will enhance your party in ways a vanilla
DJ will not - My compensation is to attend, and become a part of your event.
DJ gigs within a 350 mile radius of San Diego are considered "local" gigs and are subject to a
different arrangement and price structure (no PA speaker rental required):
(2) party tickets + vendor table
Overnight accommodations (2 night minimum)
0.50/mile round trip mileage

Bring a scene-friendly DJ to your next big event!
